Goodbye Class of 2017…Hello New Alumni!

Kelly Nicole Brinckman will be attending Fort Hays State University Online in the fall to pursue a Business Administration in Management degree.  While attending Heritage, Kelly has been active in the performing arts.  She would like to thank the Heritage faculty for encouraging her in God’s truth and love.  She also wishes to thank her family for their continuous and loving support. Kelly is graduating with 36 college credit hours.

Raegan Breanna Cowsert will be attending Allen Community College for 1 year and then transfering to Baker University to pursue a Nursing degree.  Raegan has received a Presidential Scholarship from Allen County.  While at Heritage, she played soccer and basketball, served as a StuCo representative and was selected as a Kansas Honors Scholar.  Raegan is graduating with 53 college credit hours.

 David Alan Hughes has enlisted in the United States Army and will leave for basic training at Fort Benning, Georgia, on May 23rd.  He will serve four years active duty and then plans to attend college in order to become an officer. While attending Heritage, David was active in soccer, basketball, and baseball. David is graduating with 27 college credit hours.

 Josef Thomas Milazzo will be attending Kansas State University studying Mechanical Engineering.  Josef  has received the Leadership Achievement Award for $5,500, and the Braun Irrevocable Trust Scholarship.  While at Heritage, Josef played soccer and basketball and has worked since his Sophomore year. He is graduating with 50 college credit hours.  

Desirae Dawn Mills will be attending Allen County Community College and is undecided on her major.  She has received a Presidential Scholarship from Allen.  While at Heritage, Desirae played volleyball and basketball and was a StuCo representative. Desirae is graduating with 48 college credit hours.

Jordan Faith Peele will be attending Wichita State University majoring in Communications with a minor in Political Science.  She has received a $16,000 Merit Scholarship.  Jordan played volleyball all four years of High School and has worked year round since her Junior year. She is graduating with 50 college credit hours.

Natasha Juleen Price will be attending Washburn Technical School in the fall, for Early Childhood Education.  While at Heritage, Natasha played volleyball, basketball and soccer, and was active in Drama throughout her high school career. She would like to thank all those who helped her throughout her years at school.

McKenna Mariah Ward will be attending Washburn University pursuing a Secondary Education major with an emphasis in History.  McKenna has received a $1,000 Valedictorian Scholarship and an $8,ooo Academic Scholarship.  She was the President of the National Honor Society, Vice President of StuCo, and was selected as a Kansas Honors Scholar.  McKenna also played every season of volleyball, basketball, and soccer during her high school years at HCS. McKenna is one of two valedictorians for the class of 2017 and is graduating with 53 college credit hours.

Lauren Grace Wineinger will be attending Southwest Baptist University pursuing a degree in Computer Science.  She has received $65,400 in music and academic scholarships including Ingman Distinguished Scholars Award, Dutile Scholars Award and the Jeff Jackson Scholarship.  During her time at HCS, Lauren was active in sports, performing arts, and student government, serving as StuCo President her senior year. She was also Vice-President of the National Honor Society. Lauren is one of two valedictorians for the class of 2017 and is graduating with 54 college credit hours.
