Biography: Mr. Downs
began teaching at HCS in January of 2016. He has been actively involved in
playing and teaching music for more than fifty years in many capacities,
including teaching praise and worship seminars both at home and abroad. He is a
member of Topeka Baptist Church where he plays drums and the trumpet for the
praise team and is a Kansas Prison Mentor.
He also produces recordings for himself and others out of the recording
studio in his home. Mr. Downs and his wife Sally have two children and five
grandchildren.
