HCS EAGLES BOOSTER CLUB

The HCS Eagles Booster Club is made up of parents, students, and friends of the HCS Sports program. The booster club supports the HCS Athletic Program by sponsoring fundraising events to buy sports equipment, by providing support at each home game, and by running the concession stands at each event!

Booster Club – Participation at Events

Remember, it is the duty of ALL athletic parents to sign up to help out with the various duties of the sports program. This is required, regardless of whether you require PSCs or not. Please note that PSCs will be given for any time served, if needed.

How many times do I need to sign up to help out? Slots are to be divided up by the number of athletes going out for each sport. So, you should plan to sign up for more than one event. A good idea is to sign up when the "other" (not your athlete) teams are playing. IE: A VARSITY parent signs up for a JV or a Jr. High game or a BOYS parent signs up for a GIRLS game.

When To Arrive At Event

Keep in mind that all games times are approximate, after the first game of the evening. Please arrive early and judge your time by the team that is playing ON THE FLOOR, NOT by a set time schedule.

GATE: If you sign up for GATE DUTY - on the first game of the afternoon/evening - you MUST show up 45 minutes PRIOR to game time.

CONCESSIONS: Please show up approximately 30 minutes - on the first game of the afternoon/evening - so that we can open up. Also, if there aren't enough folks signed up to work in the Snack Shack the day before any scheduled game; it will not be opened at all. So, PLEASE SIGN UP!!!

SCOREBOARD and LINE JUDGING: If you have experience in Line Judging or Scorecard – or if you’d like to be trained – please sign up for this task. We would prefer to have experienced individuals sign up for these slots.
